Silverwood

Grace earned a free trip to Silverwood for reading 10 books last school year. Grace and I had a wonderful day riding the rides, swimming in the lazy river and the wave pool, watching an ice skating show and a magic show, and getting wet on the Thunder Canyon and Log rides. We had so much fun that we are planning on going back again next year if she earns another ticket.

Grace really wanted to get dunked in the dunk tank, but she wasn't quite tall enough and will have to wait until next year.

I wanted Grace to ride the Panic Plunge which drops you 120 feet in just a few seconds.


After watching several times, she said "No Way."


Our favorite ride was "Thunder Canyon." People can put a quarter in a machine and douse you with water. We got drenched.
