Tracie and I recently worked through John and Stasi Eldredge’s Love and War DVD series. God did a lot of healing in our marriage through this study and encouraged us to renew our vows to start this new chapter of our marriage.
We ventured toward Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. Unfortunately the lodge was full so we stayed at the Hotel Rio Vista. We were pleasantly surprised with this nice little hotel and enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the Methow.
Although we didn’t get to stay at Sun Mountain Lodge, we did go to dinner there and had one of the best burgers in the world.
Sunday morning we attempted to tackle Goat Peak near Mazama. The hike was beautiful, but were thwarted from reaching the top by snow.
